Varnish F5 style Model 23-V made with flame maple and topped with Italian spruce. Nice neck, ivoroid binding, gold hardware, Schaller tuners, pearl truss rod cover, ebony pick guard, scooped extension, radiused fretboard.

70474-R M23 (Maestro Prototype), signed in July of 2004. The first 23V “Maestro” model Hans built with red spruce top and single piece rock maple back.

Serial number 23VB 106108-R means blueprints of a 1923 F5, varnish finish, bluegrass model with Red Maple back, built in October of 2006, 108th instrument built by Hans, Red Spruce top.
