Prairie State 17″ Jumbo Guitar

17″ jumbo 12 string Build, red maple/red spruce

Prairie State 18″ Jumbo

From Hans:

“It is pretty much a copy of a Prairie State 19″ jumbo, except it is scaled down to 18″. Top is red spruce and back and sides Cocobolo dyed. I built it for my wife Marueen, who wanted it the second she saw the back. It’s her cowboy guitar”

Oak Parlor Guitars

From Hans:

“Red spruce/white oak spec builds. Between the three are some slight variations in the ladder bracing and trim.¬†Most of the locals are stunned at the tone comes out of a 12-1/2″ parlor with oak back and sides.

Laminated braces seem to hold their shape a bit better, and you can make them thinner and less tall. It’s a great way to use up scraps of rosewood, coco, etc. too. Lams have been one of my favorite features borrowed from Larson instruments.”

Copy of Dave Ray’s Holzapfel

From Hans:

“Scale is 26.22”, red spruce and ribbon stripe saplele.¬†Quite a large guitar with a HUGE sound. This is not to say that it is the loudest guitar I’ve ever heard, but it is deep and room filling without being LOUD.
